This might be called “decisionism” and decisionism blurs the message of the gospel. It calls on a person to do something. What? Believe, of course! But how do you do that, and how is anyone else going to know if you did it? Must one walk the aisle, confess with the mouth, be baptized, regularly attend church, or do other appropriate things?
